This camp is not for beginner wrestlers. The primary focus will be intensive drilling as well as advanced techniques. We will spend most of the time on matches and live wrestling situations. Each camper will be physically challenged and mentally pushed to gain a better understanding of what it takes to be the best.
At the Felix Wrestling Academy, we have an amazing staff. We have coaches who truly care about the well-being of each and every camper. Our counselors help oversee all the training and day-to-day activities to make it a successful camp experience. I strongly believe you don’t have to be a great wrestler to be a great coach. Although, you must possess great character and be a student of the sport. Our counselors at FWA are able to help mould, motivate and inspire our youth to be their very best. We make sure to maintain a camper-to-staff ratio of 10:2 at all our camps. This is to ensure each wrestler receives the right amount of attention he or she deserves. Strong leadership skills are the key to your having a successful wrestling experience.
If your child is up to the challenge and wants to get to the next level then this camp is for them. I’m a strong believer in working hard and having fun. To break up our training, we will go to the public swimming pool, and Ohiopyle while at camp.
